Curriculum Coordinator

I am excited to be starting my tenth year with Enterprise School District and my thirteenth year in k-12 education. This will be the second year for me to serve the students and teachers of ESD as the Curriculum, Professional Development, and Textbook Coordinator. I consider myself extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work in such an amazing district!

A Little About Myself:

I grew up in a very small town called Moss and attended elementary, middle, and high school at Stringer Attendance Center. I have always enjoyed school and I knew from a young age that I wanted to pursue a career in education. After high school, I attended Jones County Junior College where I received my Associate in Arts degree. Then I enrolled at The University of Southern Mississippi to work towards and complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics.

I began my teaching career at Heidelberg Academy where I taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. After completing my second year of teaching, I moved to West Jones High School and taught Algebra I classes. Finally, I found my way to Enterprise! I taught eighth grade Pre Algebra for eight years before accepting my current position.

During my time at Enterprise, I have earned a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Southern Mississippi, and am currently completing the coursework for an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration from Mississippi State University. I will complete that coursework in July of 2017.

I am married to Rick Guy, a Certified Athletic Trainer for Rush Foundation Hospital. We have two daughters, Faith and Jacey, and one puppy, Moxie. My family and I live at Lake Eddins in Pachuta.
